well you all kno im on xanga hiatus. i am, i swear it.
but did u really think id let ashaley darling's FINE FIFTEEN go by without a happy little entry?
hehe, so THIS IS FOR YOU LIN YA LI.
i still remember the days when u me and vick were teeny little things running around new providence high school/mhcs yelling ah yee hao to everyone (okay, so u were always the quieter one. but humor me for a sec).
and speech contests and drawing contests and chinese knotting and origami and shin nien wan hwei and all those funky little things we did.
and chinese cultural knowledge and how now me and vick cant sit down nxt to a pot of tea without popping open the cap and trying (and failing) to determine if its oolong, black fa shiao, or qing fa shiao (u were always the normaler one too x]).
and those hundreds of thousands of billions of saturdays we stayed at hunan parties till the wee hours of the am playing cards or mash and just being silly.
and chinatown, going to chinatown with the big azn clan and having a big fat dinner before taking 20 different packed cars home.
and our holiday traditions: thanksgivings at art's, christmas at andrew's, sleepovers all over the freakin place. x]
and all our profitable businesses, from tornado art and taping up andrew's walls while wasting his paper mercilessly to pool plaza kiwi splash to thingamabobber...and our "boss", richard a. wolf.
and who cud forget my residential nunhood since AGE FOUR BABY..."i dont like boys!" which is ALWAYS the first thing that pops out of song lao shi's mouth when i see him.
hehe, those were the days. good times, good times.
u guys have grown past my best childhood friends and part time lovers, more time SISTERS. we're peeeeeeeeeeeeeeee buddies! nothing gets tighter than that. ;)
happy birthday sweeetie... may all ur happy dreams come true. |
